ON ICE SESSIONS

3 Synergistic Sessions Per Week

  • Heavy focus on technique and teaching. Video examples are used, and each player gets filmed

​​

  • Small groups of 6-8 skaters to provide ample coaching time, opportunities to ask questions​

​

  • One focussed skating concept per week (tight turns, forward stride, crossovers, etc.)

  • Individual drills emphasizing the skating focus of the week

  • Drills are built with game situations in mind

  • Progressive development over the course of the summer, building in passing, shooting, stickhandling, and more

SESSION #2

  • Game - like implementation â€‹of skating concepts and skills of the week

  • Small area games to provide competitive and fun opportunity to use skating concepts in game situations

  • Full ice drills to work on entries, defending the rush, creating time and space, etc.

OFF ICE SESSIONS

5 Collaborative Sessions Per Week 

  • Designed by certified strength and conditioning coach, athletic therapist, and former player

  • Coordinated with on-ice movements and techniques for seamless transition to on-ice success

​

  • Small groups in SWP private training facility

​

  • Designed to build complete athletes focussing on foundational movement, technique, speed, explosiness, and more​
