Born in Langley, BC, Lars started skating at a young age. After playing minor hockey in Langley, and in Penticton where his family moved when he was 11, Lars would go on to play in the BCHL for the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. Being one of the most natural skaters around, Lars opted to pursue his career in skating coaching, and founded Skate With Power. He is now in his 7th year serving as the Skating Coach for the NHL's Utah Hockey Club (previously Arizona Coyotes).

Born in Abbotsford, BC, Mark moved all over Canada with his family, playing hockey at every stop. He went on to play in the BCHL for the Alberni Valley Bulldogs and Penticton Vees, earning BCHL rookie of the year in 2010. He was drafted in the 4th round of the 2010 NHL entry draft to the Montreal Canadiens, and went on to play 4 seasons at the University of North Dakota. After serving as an assistant captain his final year, winning defensive forward of the year, and being named a first team all-star he signed an entry level contract with the Canadiens and went on to play 6 seasons of professional hockey with stops in the AHL, ECHL, and Denmark.
